Cute, little home for the romantic holiday
Are you longing for a romantic holiday for two in a small, lovingly furnished holiday home? Then you will feel really comfortable in La Estrella. The bright, friendly interior gives La Estrella a pleasant and soothing atmosphere. Here you can feel the beach, the sea and the summer sun.
The apartment has an open kitchen with breakfast bar and a romantic bedroom under the roof. The bedroom is accessible via a steep staircase to the top, making the house less suitable for people with mobility problems or small children. The bedroom has a cot for children from 4 to 13 years. The interior is a treat for the eye with its stylish accents.
La Estrella is located in a quiet side street within walking distance of the beach of Katwijk aan Zee, a historic, small fishing village on the South Holland coast. Despite the quiet location, the shopping street and restaurants are nearby. With a bus stop at 200 meters it is also easy to go out without a car. And just a kilometer away is a beautiful sub-tropical swimming pool.
A holiday in Katwijk aan Zee you will always remember. We would like to welcome you!

Welcome to Katwijk
Katwijk is a coastal town in the South of the Netherlands, located on the North Sea, the Oude Rijn rivers flows through the city and it is about 5 km from the west of Leiden. Nowadays Katwijk is a historic seaside resort with a wide sandy beach. You can find many old buildings, museums here and of course the lighthouse, which worth a visit.
Large cities such as Amsterdam and Rotterdam can easily be reached within an hour from Katwijk. Parking is very difficult and expensive. It is better to choose public transportation. Many buses depart from Katwijk to Leiden Centraal several times an hour. A good alternative is the Sassenheim-Warmond Station with a large parking area, directly on the A44. Trains run to Amsterdam and Rotterdam several times an hour too. You can buy a day return on the wagon. For children between 7 and 11 years old, 'Railrunners' are available for € 2.50.
